120 kilometers. Three stages. One trail. Your challenge.

The GR221 – THE TRAIL RUN® is more than just a run – it’s a challenge that takes you through the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains. Spread over approximately 120 kilometers in three stages, you’ll embark on a journey through one of the most spectacular landscapes in the Mediterranean. Rugged mountain paths, ancient dry stone walls, secluded valleys, and breathtaking sea views form the backdrop for a trail running experience that will stay with you long after you’ve finished running. The unique aspect: You choose the moment. There’s no race day and no mass start. You select your date and take on the challenge whenever you’re ready. On your starting day, you can run solo or join other runners who share the same goal. Mallorca Activities will accompany you on your journey. Organized aid stations along the route provide the support you need to fully concentrate on what truly matters: the next step, the next climb, and the finish line in sight. But every second counts. Your time will be officially recorded and included in the GR221 – THE TRAIL RUN® annual ranking. With each run, the competition intensifies, as the fastest male and female trail runners are crowned at the end of the year. It’s not just about reaching the finish line. It’s about becoming part of a community that seeks adventure, pushes boundaries, and shares a deep respect for the mountains. GR221 – THE TRAIL RUN® isn’t a one-day event. It’s a challenge that awaits you throughout the year. When you take it on is entirely up to you.

The GR221 TRAIL RUN® from Andratx to Pollença in 3 stages is aimed at runners who want to experience Mallorca away from mass tourism. Without a mass start, YOU decide when you start running, and you’ll find perfect logistics along the way, including aid stations and an “exit bus”.
