Description
The GR221 – “Best of” program takes you through the most beautiful villages of the Sierra de Tramuntana, Valldemossa, Deia, and Sóller and is a good mix of culture and hiking. There is also the possibility of combining the Deia Soller stage with the painter’s path, which runs right by the sea and invites you to swim!!

Valldemossa to Deia
This hike leads through holm oak forests past old charcoal burner sites and lime kilns up to “Puig Caragoli”. We descend over a pass into the dreamy mountain village of Deia. If the weather is good, you can take a dip in Cala Deia.

Deia to Sóller – Camí d es Pintors
The easiest route of our hiking week leads along the “Camí des Pintors”, past old manors from the 13th century. The trail of Arab descent previously served as a link between the villages of Soller and Deia. If the weather is nice, we can end the day on Sóller beach. There is also the possibility of a stroll through the mountain village of Sóller, which is considered the “capital” of the Tramuntana

The pilgrims’ canyon of Biniaraix
The Biniaraix Gorge is one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Tramuntana Mountains and has been declared a “public cultural asset”. This stone-paved hiking trail is a fascinating combination of stone steps, rock, water, and wild vegetation.
